Armani, Peugeot, & Fendi are names you wouldn't link with Spen Valley. But Heckmondwike-born Brian Tattersfield helped propel these brands to the forefront of design. He and Marcello Minale launched their design company Minale Tattersfield and became two of the top designers in Europe. Their clients included Harrods, Giorgio Armani, Nivea and London Transport. The subway artwork at Heathrow's central terminal is also by their studio.
